This rare and virtually unknown EP is the only record ever released by Les Pascalines, an all-female Christian folk quintet initially formed in 1973 for Radio Évangile (on RMC) in the framework of an evangelization program called 'Action Punch' (unless there are pirated recordings around of their summers concerts on Languedoc's beaches...). It's really a pity, because the content is of a high quality and could recall the atmosphere of some of the best British female folk albums with young female vocals, or school project albums. The girls are accompanied by the musician Claude Kim of the Nord Gospel Group, who also composed three of the beautiful songs performed here. The last one is a cover of an unknown author.
