"Veillée" is the first record ever released by Bidulfolk that is better known for its self-titled album, also released on Le Kiosque d'Orphée. This utterly unknown 7-inch EP, 33 RPM (no mention on the internet at the time of writing this review) released in a tiny quantity of 300 copies wasn't recorded in a musical studio but in the offices of Vilmorin (a local company of Anjou) by a winemaker! Even though the winemaker was crazy about recording techniques and sound systems, their means of recording were limited and the result, although pleasant, is nothing to rave about, close from campfire folk songs with male and female vocals, as the title and cover might suggest.
